"... crosses some of the tundra between African Flamenco and Siberian Blues, combining a respect for all traditions with a shameless irreverence for borders ... a gourmet lettuce selection of riveting rhythms and melodic mayhem spanning two oceans - organically grown, handpicked and very tasty"

David Greenald is a singer / songwriter / musician with an eclectic repertoire of over 300 timeless songs. His music spans all genres, but has been described as "beautiful multilingual blues-folk-funk". In addition to his solo work, David's musical visions collectively known as World Upside Down have been brought to fruition by a group of consummate musicians playing in several separate ensembles...

• World Upside Down (electric band): David Greenald plays accordion, guitar, keyboards and darbouka and writes and sings all the songs. Ian Rough: guitar. Chris Thompson: violin. Bo Kirton: bass. Mike Richards: harmonica. Pete Slater: drums.

• World Upside Down (accoustic band): David Greenald: accordion, guitar, keyboards and darbouka, vocals and songs. Ian Rough: guitar. Chris Thompson: violin. Mole: saxophone. Neil Dutton: drums / percussion. James Kirk: double bass

• Billy Pilgrim: David Greenald: accordion, guitar, keyboards, vocals and songs. Ian Rough: guitar. Chris Thompson: violin

• Badly Horse-drawn Boy: Duets with mandolinist and traveller Dave.

• January 2008: details of the re-invented World Upside Down coming soon!
